1) Many people go to the Fine Art Galleries nowadays because of their love and interest to works of Art. People spend long hours in front of canvasses of masterpieces of famous foreign and native artists. They get genuine enjoyment of deeping into the world of high Art. But many visitors seem to be at a lost when they passing the halls with masterpieces of 19th century and come into the halls of the 20th century pictures. They can’t understand the beauty and real understanding of modern Art. Many of them ask: "What has painted here? What does the artist want to say?” and the usual: " I also can paint so!” At our lesson today we will try to answer the eternal question of Art. What masterpiece is priceless and what is worthless? If we can’t answer this question we will try to be closer to the beautiful world of paintings and think about the eternal world of Art.
2) Let’s look at these three pictures painted in different centuries and by different painters. - If you were rich, would you start collecting pictures? - Which one you like the best? Why? - What the principal difference between these 3pictures do you see? - 3) You are quiet right to point out 3 main styles of painting. It is landscape, still life, portrait. Then tell me what is wrong with the pictures and names, what should you do to have the right idea. Blues are the basic styles.
4) Now I want you to be in groups of three and try to distinguish the styles of the pictures I give to you and say about the main ideas .You should choose the speaker. You have 5’ to do the task.
